St Status of s of Son SonoraFest • Now in the marketing and advertising phase • Sponsorships have been great, but shortfall of $6.5k against $20k budget - impact is reduced marketing & advertising to bring 5,000 to 6,000 attendees to Fest • Highlights of SonoraFest - Secretary of State & Governor of Sonora (or her rep) preside at Binational/ International Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - VIP Press Conference & Reception - Continuous entertainment for two days by groups from Sonora & Arizona - Close to 60 excellent vendors from Sonora are confirmed to participate • All logistical tasks have been coordinated and locked in • Will hold a training session on June 15 th at the Mall to train staff and volunteers • Total Sponsorship Value is $18,500; Cash is $13,500 – still actively working additional sponsorships
