17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah. Matthew 1:17

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, 16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see —such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. Colossians 1:15,16

For He (Christ) is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. Colossians 2:9

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

The Genealogy proves: God Keeps His Promises

Verse 3, “Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar …” Verse 5, “Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab , Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth …”

Verse 6, “David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife …” Verse 16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

Verse 3, “Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar …”

Verse 5, “Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab , Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth …”

Verse 6, “David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife …”

The only way you get a name that will last is through Jesus!
