Skate Park Naming and Community Art Project
Background Project Funded by Proposition 84 Grant Funds. The Community Art component was written into the Grant and will need to be completed in order to be in compliance. The City of El Centro partnered with the El Centro Elementary School District and the Rainforest Project. Having the children of the community involved will provide them a since of ownership and pride!

Process The 6 th grade students at Sunflower Elementary School are working to create a design and park name that is unique to our geographical area.
