What to do now? ● Finish off 2nd semester STRONG ● Complete your FAFSA/Dream Act (Priority Deadline: March 2) ● Apply for scholarships ● Submit Community College Applications ● Check personal email regularly, for follow up items that may need to be submitted to universities, colleges, or FAFSA/Dream Act
4-Year University Next Steps: ● Look out for your Acceptance letters ○ Accept your admission ○ Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) by May 1, 2018 ● Create a Student Portal account through the university you plan to attend ○ Review & Accept Financial Aid Award (if any) ○ Pay for tuition ○ Sign up for an Orientation (if any) ○ Register for classes ○ View deadlines for specific requests to submit ● Submit official transcripts to Universities at the end of the school year ○ Make sure your transcript includes Spring semester grades (January - May) ○ Obtain transcripts from the Registrar or through parchment.com ● Notify the Office of Admission of any possible academic deficiencies (D’s and F’s)
