Grad Night Rules & Regulations In addition to the Park Policies already in place at Universal Studios Hollywood, the following rules and regulations apply to GRAD NIGHT: ▪ Absolutely NO Drugs, Alcohol, or Weapons of any kind are permitted. Laser pointers and chemical irritants are also banned. ▪ Universal Studios is a SMOKE FREE PARK, so no smoking of cigarettes/vape pens is allowed. ▪ Over the counter medications and any containers with fluid (such as water bottles, perfume, body spray, etc.) are prohibited. ▪ Only buses are permitted to park. Absolutely no STUDENT- DRIVEN VEHICLES. ▪ No student or guest is permitted to leave the park prior to closing unless accompanied by a chaperone. ▪ All prescription medication must be carried by a chaperone. Asthma Inhalers & Epi Pens are exceptions to this rule. ▪ All students, guests, and chaperones MUST adhere to the Dress Code. ▪ No outside food or drink will be permitted in the park.
Cap & Gown Distribution Caps and gowns will be distributed Thursday, May 16th & Friday, May 17th at lunch . If you haven’t ordered your cap and gown, see Mrs. Douty (ASB) in Room 211. Cap and Gown Orders MUST be completed by 2/22/19!
Senior PRIDE Night: Performer Auditions Senior Performers entertain the crowd at Senior PRIDE Night. We will be looking for: Singers Dancers Musical Groups/Orchestral Ensembles Poetry Readings Audition Forms will be available in the Front Office beginning Wednesday, April 3 rd , 2019.
Senior PRIDE Night Date: Wednesday, May 22 nd , 2019 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Place: Poly Gym Dress: Semi-Formal (Dresses, slacks, shirts & ties) This occasion will recognize ALL members of the Class of 2019 for their accomplishments. We will also have spectacular performances by some of our most talented Bears and, if you pre-ordered your Yearbook, you will receive the yearbook to take home with you at the conclusion of the event. Parents and friends are invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
Yearbook Distribution Yearbooks will be distributed at the conclusion of Senior PRIDE Night on May 22nd and on the following dates: Thursday, May • 23rd & F riday, May 24th at Lunch
Senior Final Exams Seniors will take Semester 2 Final Exams during regular class periods on: • Monday, May 20 th through Wednesday, May 22 nd • Periods Zero through 6 th
Senior Breakfast at Cal Baptist University Alumni Dining Hall DATE: Thursday, May 23, 2019 PLACE: California Baptist University, Alumni Dining Hall TIME : 8:00 – 9:30 am BRING: Student ID Card & Yearbook (if you want to get them signed) TRANSPORTATION: You are responsible for your own transportation to/from CBU INDIVIDUAL TICKET PRICE: $15.00

Graduation Practice #2 DATE: Tuesday, May 28 th , 2019 TIME: 9:30 am – 11:30 am PLACE: Poly Gym DRESS: Casual IMPORTANT INFO: ALL GRAD PRACTICES ARE MANDATORY! You will receive 8 FREE GRADUATION TICKETS at the end of this practice. (Get 2 EXTRA GRAD TICKETS when you complete your FAFSA by March 1 st !)
Every GRADUATING Senior will receive 8 tickets to graduation. Senior Aloha Luau (New for 2019!) Senior Come join your classmates for a final “Aloha,” to Poly High School. This special evening is dedicated to the Class of 2019 and is intended to be a fun way to celebrate with food, performances, music & dancing, and more! Come in your fave Hawaiian wear/tacky tourist attire and celebrate one more night with your classmates! Where: Poly High School, 600/800 Quad Luau Date: Tuesday, May 28, 2019 Time: 7:00 – 10:00 PM Ticket Price: $25.00
Graduation Practice #3 DATE: Wednesday, May 29 th , 2019 TIME: 7:30 – 11:30 am PLACE: Poly HS Gym DRESS: Casual for warm weather BRING: Sunscreen, water & a hat TRANSPORTATION: All seniors will meet at POLY HS and will be provided transportation to/from King HS. Busses will leave Poly at 8:00 am and return to Poly by 12:00 pm. NOTE: STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE PRIVATE VEHICLES TO KING HS.
GRADUATION 2019 ● DATE: Wed. May 29th ● TIME: 6:00 PM (Gates open at 4:30 PM) ● LOCATION: King HS Football Field ● ARRIVAL FOR SENIORS: 4:45 PM in the King HS Gym
Graduation Parking at King HS FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY: It is HIGHLY recommended that Seniors are DROPPED OFF at King HS by 4:45 pm. There is NO PARKING for Seniors on the King campus, so if seniors drive to graduation, you will be parking on the streets in the residential neighborhoods. King HS Parking Lot will be reserved for Graduation Guests and Poly HS Staff. ARRIVAL TIME FOR SENIORS IS 4:45 PM @ KING’S GYM!
DRESS CODE FOR GRADUATION LADIES: Semi Formal Dress: Dress, Skirt w/Blouse, etc. and Flat Shoes or Wedges less than 3” in height (No Spiked Heels are allowed on the field !) GENTLEMEN: Semi Formal Dress: Shirt, Slacks, Tie, and Dress Shoes
