Earth or 4 Units of miscellaneous Enviro electives 3 Units of Social Studies TAA provides potential .5 credit Pass or Fail grade World Hist., US Hist., & Gov’t/Econ 23 total units are required for graduation
Graduation Requirements: Testing Georgia Milestones EOC – Counts 20% of students’ final course grade. Students must take these exams or they will be assigned an incomplete for the course until it is taken, a score is received and the grade is posted.
Attendance Policy Absences/Excuses (parent/guardian, doctor, etc.) must be handled in the attendance office within 5 days of returning to school. On the 7th absence (excused/unexcused/OSS) per semester PER CLASS students will not receive credit for the course. Appeals automatically generated for students with passing grades.

College Recommendations Requests for recommendation letters must be in writing using the Recommendation Request Form. This packet must be completed and returned 2 school weeks prior to recommendation deadline. Requests for recommendations received without the Recommendation Request Form will be completed, but with a form letter.
Senior Procedures Individual Counseling Appointments for College/Scholarship Questions After classroom presentation in early September appointments can be scheduled during student’s lunch period. Scholarship binder located in Counseling office and posted on Student Services website.

HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship SSN Verification: Social Security numbers are required to be in ASPEN for a student to be HOPE • eligible. Rigor Requirement 4 courses complete prior to graduation (examples: Algebra 2 or higher, Chemistry, Physics, 2 nd year of Foreign Language or higher, AP Courses ) HOPE Scholarship: 3.0 academic GPA, covers approximately 90% of the previous years tuition • Zell Miller scholarship: 3.7 academic GPA — covers 100% of 2014-2015 tuition • SAT 1200 combined CR and Math SAT, or 26 ACT composite • www.GAFutures.org HOPE GPA is calculated using academic courses only.
