Our AUOs Outcome 1.1 Student Success - Students will be able to achieve personal and educational goals with a 2-year comprehensive educational plan in arts and/or languages . Outcome 1.2 - Office Effectiveness - The School of Arts and Languages office will provide effective and positive support to faculty, staff, and students. Outcome 1.3 Promote Equity - The SAL will promote an environment that is encouraging of equity-based discussion and practice in our office, our classrooms, and in general practice Outcome 1.4 Provide leadership and direction for scheduling - The SAL office will provide relevant data and related training in order to better lead and direct the development of class schedules to meet student demands and needs

Key Findings – Outcome 1.2, Office Effectiveness Meetings Faculty want content that will impact classroom practice No trends regarding times, days, formats Customer Service in Office Slight overall improvement Discrepancies in feedback between contract and adjunct faculty Contracts indicated improvement Adjuncts indicated decline Results from both surveys indicated a need for continued work and growth in customer service practices
Key Findings – Outcome 1.3, Promote Equity Both adjunct and tenured/tenured track post- surveys showed decline Understanding Mesa’s definition of equity Valuing Mesa’s intent to be the Leading College of Equity & Excellence Comments and conversation indicate: Campus work is geared toward full-time faculty Should be more effort to target those NOT integrating equity-based practice It’s time to move beyond initial work and presentations
