Scale Confusion
What is Scale? Scale is the size of an object in relation to other objects.
What Proportion Proportion refers to the relative size of parts of a whole (elements within an object).

Objectives Using what you know about scale and proper proportion, you will create a series of images that intentionally trick the eye into thinking the focal points in the image are believeable and on the same plane.
To Do: Photograph three images that manipulate scale: 1. 1x will have a foreground / background distance of at least 50 feet. 2. 1x will have a distance of roughly 20 feet. 3. 1x will have a distance of less than 10 feet.
Grading Criteria - 20 points per Photo Scale accuracy: proper distance: 5 Scale confusion believability: 5 Photograph creativity: 5 Photograph exposure: 5 60 point project. Images due on blog at end of next class.
