Against Myer's, Kitchen's had an easy win by 148 runs. Best performers were the captain, Rod Cameron, who scored 69 and 46, Collins (one of the best wicket-keepers in the competition) 42, and Cardwell 29. 'Scotty' Richardson, who should repeat last year's performance by winning the Association trophy for bowling, captured 13/74 in the final, including 9/36 in the second innings. Other bowlers who did well during the season were S. Nelson and R. Broomhall, while Albinson, McGregor and Yendle are also worthy of mention: Kitchen's 'B' team was defeated in the final by Russell Manufacturing Co. After being premiers last year. The Company's sporting activities are controlled by the Social Club, and most of the cricketers will be seen as footballers in the Saturday Morning League
