Safety & Accessibility TOPIC SUMMARYOF SAMRA ACTIVITIES IN 2019 STATUS AND NEXT STEPS FOR 2020 Multiple responses to consultation regarding Continue engagement on Bus Connects protection of key bus routes, continued North / proposals South Dublin access and retention of trees on Merrion Road • Engagement with Garda Community Policing Work with Garda and DCC Strand Road Unit and DCC to improve enforcement Traffic • Raised issues regarding HGV traffic and ‘rat and safety runs’ with Councillors* Engaged with DCC team on proposals and Work with DCC to ensure Sandymount sought updates from Councillors* implementation works for Green Traffic residents and local Plan businesses 14
