FQM - FAIL SAFE  Actuators with fail-safe function are used for valve applications on plants with significant risk potential. Fail-safe units can automatically open or close valves in the event of an emergency, even without power supply.  The AUMA FQM fail-safe unit is particularly suited for automation of butterfly valves and ball valves. The unit meets the requirements in safety-related applications up to SIL 2 / SIL 3. Also available in ATEX version. AUMA Scandinavia AB 25
