How to be successful in high High School Life school. Take advanced courses in your personal areas of interest and strength Get involved, attend events Join clubs and organizations Participate in fine arts and/or athletics Colleges & Employers are looking for well-rounded and committed students!
What is different about high school academically? Eight period school day, with seven classes and one lunch. A passing grade in a class will earn a half credit per semester. Credits are necessary to be promoted to the next grade and to graduate. Credit can be denied for poor attendance.
How many credits are necessary each year? Grade Total Credits Freshmen 0 – 5.0 Sophomore 5.5 – 11.5 Junior 12.0 – 18.5 Senior 19.0 + GRADUATE 26.0
