How to be successful in high High School Life school.  Take advanced courses in your personal areas of interest and strength  Get involved, attend events  Join clubs and organizations  Participate in fine arts and/or athletics Colleges & Employers are looking for well-rounded and committed students!

  3. What is different about high school academically?  Eight period school day, with seven classes and one lunch.  A passing grade in a class will earn a half credit per semester.  Credits are necessary to be promoted to the next grade and to graduate.  Credit can be denied for poor attendance.

  4. How many credits are necessary each year? Grade Total Credits Freshmen 0 – 5.0 Sophomore 5.5 – 11.5 Junior 12.0 – 18.5 Senior 19.0 + GRADUATE 26.0
