ACCESS TO MSHS COURSES TO SUPPORT STUDENTS’ GOALS AND INTERESTS • BIG PICTURE SCHOOLS EMPHASIZE STUDENT CHOICE AND DEVELOPING STUDENT INTERESTS • THIS IS SUPPORTED THROUGH INTEREST-BASED INTERNSHIPS AND PROJECTS • STUDENTS SHOULD ALSO BE ABLE TO TAKE COURSES BASED ON THEIR INTERESTS. EXAMPLES: • PROGRAMMING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN • WORLD LANGUAGES • ARTS AND MUSIC • WELDING AND OTHER CTE COURSES

OTHER • DISTRICT SERVICES • FOOD SERVICE • TRANSPORTATION • ENROLLMENT AND RECRUITING
POTENTIAL ISSUES
MAINTAINING PROGRAM SEPARATION • MANY TWO RIVERS STUDENTS STRUGGLE WITH SOCIAL ANXIETY AND NEED A SMALLER SPACE SEPARATE FROM THE PROGRAM AT MOUNT SI • TWO RIVERS TEACHERS NEED TO BE 100% AT TWO RIVERS TO TEACH COURSES AND TO BE BIG PICTURE ADVISORS • TWO RIVERS STUDENTS CAN GO OUT TO MSHS CLASSES, BUT MSHS STUDENTS CANNOT ACCESS TWO RIVERS CLASSES • TWO RIVERS WOULD CONTINUE TO HAVE AN ADVISORY LIMIT OF 16 STUDENTS
