HERO Program • Performance-based contract awarded to SERCO September 2017 • Three year, $10,675,527 contract with three 12-month options • Scalable geographic coverage and services • Funded by CAMPO and the Austin District • Focus is on incident response and roadway clearance • Support emergency response providers for safe, quick and efficient roadway clearance at crash scenes • Clear damaged and disabled vehicles from roadway • Provide traffic control and scene protection at incidents • Can be deployed Statewide for emergency events HERO Program Update 6/28/18 2
