Dress the part • The dedicated workspace • Take walks, breaks, eat! • Have daily/weekly goals • Have a daily standup meeting • Be on time for meetings • Have a backup number for your video meetings • Check in with your manager daily •

Remotes don’t have the luxury of reading body language • (non-video) It’s hard to catch tone in IM/email • The asynchronous nature of remote • Repeat back what you think you heard • Cross-departmental integration • Find ways to connect with your office culture, in-office • visits, C2M poster contest
