mEET yOUR tEACHERS This is my 10th year teaching music at Endeavor Charter School. I have a degree in Music Education from Elon University and I am currently finishing my Masters in Music Education My name is Sra. Diaz. with an emphasis in wind I'm the spanish teacher at band conducting through Endeavor Charter School. I'm American Band College and originally from Peru. Central Washington I'm really happy to be part of University. I love sharing the the Endeavor family and I'm sharing the joy of music looking forward to meet you with my students. and sharing my latin culture with you. 3
Hello! My name is Jennifer Tatum and this will be my 13th year of teaching Visual Arts at Endeavor! I have been teaching for over 16 years and enjoy working with students of all ages and experience. Hello! My name is Joshua Burt and We have missed I am entering my 13th year as Athletic Director here at seeing Endeavor Charter School. Along everyone! with managing our middle school athletic program and coaching the basketball team, I look forward to teaching, promoting and sharing the importance of health and physical education to our k-8 student population. 5

Remote Learning for 7-8 Students will choose one elective class for first ● quarter. Options include Drama, Health and Fitness, ● Band, Spanish, Visual Art Students will use a google form to indicate their ● 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices Students will find out what class they are in and ● further information from their teacher before Monday, 8/23. 7

G e n e r a l D r a m a 7 - 8 In this General Drama class, students will: Learn about basic principles of Theatre Arts. ● Participate in Drama activities to build on improvisational ● skills. Study Scripts and learn how to create characters. ● Practice using vocal variety while performing digitally. ● Please note: In this class students will be ● sending/uploading digital recordings of their performances to Mrs. Colvin. 14
Fitness/Health 7-8 In this class, the students will….. × Learn principles, concepts and benefits of health, fitness and nutrition. × Apply competent motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities and exercises through active participation. × Understand concepts, strategies and tactics that apply to the learning and performance of movement, exercise and game play through active participation. × Apply tools such as food labels, fitness charts and diagrams, etc. to plan for healthy nutrition and individual workout routines. 15
