PV PV Cross Country Proposal to create a Pequea Valley Cross Country Team. Over the past several years there has been an interest in Cross Country at Pequea Valley. Cross Country would be a positive athletic opportunity for our learners.

Potentially extending our co-op agreement with Linville Hill. • Hire coaches. We would need a head coach and assistant for each level of the sport that we offer. • The new coaches would be responsible to create a running club and opportunities for practice. • PV would create a Cross Country course and designate safe areas for training.
Pr Process • Gain necessary approval to sponsor the sport at PV. • Begin the search for coaches. • Petition the LL League for membership in the league for the 2020 season. • Petition the PIAA for recognition as a member school in the sport. • August 2020 PV has JH and Varsity teams. The alternative would be a 2020 start in JH and a 2022 start for Varsity.
