Experience Modern Japan ● Experience the everyday life of Japanese family ● Find out the lifestyle of Japanese youth by spending time together with university & high school students ● Visit local, regional and international businesses ● Attend formal courtesy visits with mayors and governors ● Experience Japanese pop culture (anime, manga, music, etc...)

Experiencing Japan from Inside Perspective by Interacting with People ● Constantly interact with people (host families, school children, business owners, politician, local citizens, etc.) ● Share your culture, politics and belief with Japanese community members as well as multi-national classmates ● Use your personal talents or creativity in our Thank-You Event

  7. Diversity Experience World Campus – Japan together with 20 to 40 participants from around 15 different countries and share your different cultures.

  9. Host families During the program you will stay with local Japanese host families 100% of the time and gain real cultural learning on a grass-root level.

  10. Hands-on curriculum During our unique community- based education curriculum you effectively learn a variety of aspects of Japanese society and the world through seminars and interactions with community activists, business and political leaders.

  11. Community contribution During the activities you interact with the local community and get to share your culture as well as contribute to the community and so develop compassion and skills to contribute to society.

  12. Arigato event By interacting through dance and music we thank the local communities for hosting us. As a participant you perform with the group but also get the chance to show your personal talents.

  26. Language usage • The program operates in English • Most host families speak English to some degree • Useful Japanese phrases will be taught • More advanced speakers will have public speaking opportunities

Admission requirements • Conversational English skills • Be open-minded and adaptable to new circumstances • Be motivated to share and present a variety of aspects of your own culture • General age limit is 17 ~ 45 years old (some exceptions) • Physically and mentally capable to participate in all the scheduled activities
