LIGHTER SCHOOL BAGS What Parents can do : • Ensure that a packed school bag is less than 3.5kg. • Select bags of lightweight materials. • Advise your child to plan and pack according to the timetable. • Check your child’s bag weekly. How School will support : • Teach students the skills of packing the school bag. • Reinforce the proper way of carrying school bags and proper posture. • Conduct periodic checks on school bags. • Counsel students when necessary.
