  3. Vale Anthony Schroder The Executive Committee was saddened to hear of the passing of Anthony Schroder on Friday 29 March following a hard-fought battle with neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas. Anthony was a member of Sacred Heart’s D Grade grand final team less than a week prior to his passing. As a long term Mercantiler, a member of both Gunbower United and Sacred Heart he was a fine all-rounder who will be missed by many. The thoughts of the Executive go out to his family, friends and team mates. Vale Adrian Crawley It is with sadness that we report the passing of retired MCA Umpire Adrian Crawley Adrian retired at the end of the 2015/16 season having been awarded Life Membership of the MCUA in 2013. He was Treasurer for a number of years until his retirement from the panel. During that time Adrian turned around the finances of the MCUA from something of a basket case to lay solid foundations of the healthy position the Association now finds itself. Adrian introduced several innovations that are still with us today.
