  7. Internet • Portuguese Federation Website : – Publishing of information concerning Dangerous Riding and Abuse of Horse. • Portuguese Eventing Association - Website and Facebook This year, we are encouraging the Organizing Comities (OC’s) of the events to publish this same information (in case they have a website). POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014

  8. After each event publishing of Warnings and Penalties (*): • Recorded Verbal Warning; • Yellow Warning Card; • 25 penalties; • 25 penalties + Yellow Warning Card; • Elimination; • Elimination + Yellow Warning Card. (*) The same as FEI POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014

  9. • Awareness campaingns at the beginning of competitions during Riders’s Meetings, by the NSO or the PGJ, for the riders as well as for other elements, such as trainers, parents, owners, OC’s and Officials . • The good performance of the Stewarts , helps to prevent and also to encourage the riders to ride by the Rules and to do a safety course. POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25- 01-2014

  10. • The Fall Report Form is a good indicator for the Course Designer and TD to help in future constructions and presentation of the fences. • The Final Report done at the end of each competition by the TD or the PGJ (if doesn’t exist TD) is also helpful . • The NSO will be able to help OCs with the guide lines for each event, specially for the XC. POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014

  11. With these procedures we intend to share the responsibility of safety measures among riders, officials, trainers, parents and OCs. and The FEI Safety DVD will surely help! POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014

  12. A GOOD EXPERIENCE in 2013: • In 2013, only: 2 yelow cards • One continue after 3 refusals (CNC*) • Riding after a rider’s fall (Pre Novice) 1 Record verbal warning • Horse out of control (Pre Novice) • In 472 Starters POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014

  13. A BAD EXPERIENCE in 2013: • In the Juniors Championship, one rider, with a clear XC (no pen at the fences and in time), didn’t win because she jumped the rope (25 pen points!) POR NSO Aníbal Marianito Lausanne 25-01-2014
