Steps already taken • Moved Preschool in order to make space • Continue to renovate spaces at Central • Purchased land site for future growth
What we have already done at current buildings to help with space Renovations at Central High School ➢ Created a classroom in the Media Center used for Business and Social Studies ➢ Old Art room changed to Engineering Robotics Room ➢ Dressing room for Theatre ➢ Old Robotics and Special Education classroom divided up into Computer Graphics and other classrooms ➢ Converted upstairs storage (balcony over Commons) into office space ➢ Removing lockers creating a teacher/copier workroom to free up space for additional classrooms ➢ Created storage area from pre-existing locker bay ➢ Created classroom in older conference area (inside administrative offices)
Future Planning ❖ Renovate some spaces at Ridgeview to make room ❖ Continue to move Preschool Units
