Parking Patrol Sign Up Schedule September 6 at 9 am - Gr. 6 http:/ /sfx.onvolunteers.com September 6 at 11 am - Gr. 5 3 full days required per ● family September 6 at 1 pm - Gr. 4 Minimum 20.25 hours total ● September 6 at 3 pm - Gr. 3 ○ Full days = 7.75 or 6.75 September 6 at 5 pm - Gr. 2 Half days = 3.25 or 4.25 ○ September 6 at 7 pm - Gr. 1 September 6 at 9 pm - K

  21. PPP Hours ● 20 target hours + 3 fundraising hours ● Counts from June 1 - May 31 ● PPP hours completed in June counts towards next school year ● Volunteer opportunities available throughout the year

  22. Walkathon Walkathon counts towards the fundraising hours requirement. Walkathon sign up is available only for families who have not participated in Walkathon from the previous two years. Volunteers will be required to supervise and walk along with their assigned class. Primary classes will be walking 1 lap along the walkathon route. Intermediate classes will be completing 2 laps. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

  23. Bazaar & Singathon The annual Bazaar is held on the last Saturday of May and counts toward fundraising hours. All families are required to contribute 3 hours to Bazaar (if they did not do Walkathon). Planning starts in January, with volunteer assignments available April/May.

  24. Library Assistance Library assistance provides support for the library during the school year. Volunteers help with reshelving books, check books in/out, and other duties. If signing up on the same day as Parking Patrol duty, only time spent in Library will be credited for PPP hours. Library Orientation Training Days: September 11, 1 pm - 2 pm September 13, 10:30 am - 11:30 am

  25. Book Fair Book Fair volunteers help with set up, decoration, supervising book fair days, handling cash and clean up. We cannot accommodate volunteers who are scheduled for parking patrol duty at the same time.

  26. Sunday Breakfast This job includes food service and kitchen cleaning for the Sunday brunch served after Mass. Please note the following for the health and safety of volunteers: 1. This job may involve exposure to allergens, and may not be suitable for volunteers with skin sensitivities or allergies. 2. If you are not able to make it to duty due to illness, please contact the coordinator to reschedule your shift. 3. All volunteers must wear long trousers and comfortable, non-slip, closed-toes shoes. 4. You can bring your own hand gloves for cleaning jobs to protect your hands.

  27. PTA Hot Lunch Hot Lunch volunteers help to receive, organize and distribute lunches to classrooms in the 11:45am-12:45pm shift; and will help set up and sell at the concession stand in the 2pm-3:30pm shift. Please report to the coordinator in the school lobby. Order PTA Hot Lunches at: http:/ /sfxschool.hotlunches.net Register for a new account and add your child(ren).

  29. After School Chinese Teacher assistance and parking patrol required for the After School Chinese Program (PPP hours). Two positions required for parking patrol: 1. Parkade Entrance ● Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic Direct vehicles to exit from the parkade ● before allowing vehicles to enter 2. Driveway Entrance ● Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic Direct vehicles to drive into / exit from ● the parkade
