Sustainability of the Project • The lessons can be incorporated in the upcoming themes. E.g. Occupations. • We shared our journey with our PCF district centres during our Learning Fiesta on 4 Sept 2018. • We will continue to explore the elements of Arts in the year 2019.
Teachers’ Reflection Teacher Ashila : AISS was an amazing platform for our students to learn more about sculptures and it helped students in their fine motor skills, thinking abilities and creativity. It has enhanced their confidence in the process. Teacher Zarah : This project has given our students the exposure to a different art form which was sculpture. They have become more aware of the elements of arts and how to use it in creating an art piece. It also developed their fine motor skills. It further enhanced their planning skills and their social emotional skills especially during the group work.
Project sharing with parents on 6 April 2018
Parents’ feedback Appreciate the teachers’ patience and hard work through the whole project. We are clearer of what they have been learning and how we can reinforce at home as parents. Very refreshing! It was so nice to know that my kid was not just learning academics but also learnt about coping skills. It was a good idea to share this session with parents. We appreciate it and it has been a very valuable education experience for our children. I think that after this project, they would start to see things around them with a different view.
