Airport Arrangements Flights are from Manchester to Marseille. Flight bookings These will be made from Wednesday 22 nd Jan. Staff and Students combined there are in excess of 430 return flights to book. Prices and availability change daily so you will be notified next week of the exact dates for your trip.

Passport & EHIC card Every child will need their own passport and EHIC to travel (pending Brexit), and we should have these in school ready for departure date. No flights will be booked for your son/ daughter unless we hold a photocopy of a valid passport. Visa – If your son/ daughter needs a visa for entry into France you must make us aware and make the necessary arrangements. Your son/daughter will have their passport on their return

Baggage Hand Luggage – max 10kg Maximum size 55 x 40 x 20cm including handles and wheels weighing up to 10 kg . If you exceed this then you will receive the bill for the extra baggage payment £50-£100. Hold Luggage – max 5kg One small drawstring bag for toiletries/liquids – this will be placed into a larger holdall and put in the hold. Students will have no access to this between school and the campsite.
Kit List (Details) Sleeping Bag liner We provide sleeping bags but we advise that you purchase a liner to go inside the sleeping bag. Sun cream Bottle 1 – High Factor 50+ spray bottle to be collected by staff on arrival (see example) this will be carried by staff for the group on activities. Bottle 2 - Smaller personal bottle of high factor 50+ sun cream to be used around camp in addition to bottle 1
Kit List (Details) Water Shoes There are many options available online or at Decathlon / Sports direct (£10) Swimming shorts or Trunks Tight fitting shorts or trunks must be worn by males in public pools in France Water Based Activities School will be providing a rash vest for pupils to purchase and wear when taking part in any water based activity to protect them from the sun. In addition to this we also require pupils to take trousers or leggings that can be worn when kayaking to prevent burnt legs . These should be light weight and quick drying.
Medication & Allergies • It is important you make us aware of any medical needs. Please pass this information to your team leader along with emergency contact information. • Please pack any medication into a re-sealable plastic bag and label it clearly with the pupil’s name. • Inside the bag please enclose guidance regarding the time and dose of medication to be provided. • This should be handed to the group leader on the morning of departure. • We may get in contact to produce a care plan to ensure that we fully understand the medical needs and how to administer medication
Summary • Pupil mobile phones are not allowed on the trip • Disposable cameras are best, as expensive cameras can get damaged by the water and sand. • Emergency contact details must be accurate and medical information provided, please ensure these are accurate tonight. • Medication must be provided on the departure date and medical details provided • Sun cream and water based activity wear is essential • PLEASE CHECK DETAILS ON THE PARENTPAY FORM.
