We are CREEKLAND!  School Hours - 8:30 – 3:30  Celebrate Student Success  Will be a GRIZZLY for the  Student of the Month next 7 years  Random Acts of Kindness  1488 students  Word of the Week  120 staff members  Honor/Merit Roll  1,080 class changes  Perfect Attendance  Great Behavior  Between 6 – 13 different teachers for the year

  5. Schedule and Dens  7 period day  5 academic classes – Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies  2 connections classes – Exploratory & Academic  4 dens per grade level  120 – 140 students on each den – from every elementary school

Which Den will you be on?  Den Names – a twist on Cherokee and Georgia names  6 th grade dens – Landmarks in Georgia (Brasstown Ridge)  7 th grade dens – Names of Creeks or Lakes in Georgia (Tugaloo Trail)  8 th grade dens – Regions/Islands of Georgia (Cumberland Hill)  Students submit ideas for den names! Students submitting the names that are selected will win a Grizzly shirt.  Shirts for each den will be on sale in the fall for field trips, team events and to promote school and team pride  Team/den selection – students will be randomly assigned to dens.

  11. Dress Code  No holes above the knee  Leggings, jeggings, yoga pants are permitted with a shirt that covers the hips  Skirts 3 inches above the knee  Shorts 5 inches above the knee
