Schedule and Dens 7 period day 5 academic classes – Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies 2 connections classes – Exploratory & Academic 4 dens per grade level 120 – 140 students on each den – from every elementary school
Which Den will you be on? Den Names – a twist on Cherokee and Georgia names 6 th grade dens – Landmarks in Georgia (Brasstown Ridge) 7 th grade dens – Names of Creeks or Lakes in Georgia (Tugaloo Trail) 8 th grade dens – Regions/Islands of Georgia (Cumberland Hill) Students submit ideas for den names! Students submitting the names that are selected will win a Grizzly shirt. Shirts for each den will be on sale in the fall for field trips, team events and to promote school and team pride Team/den selection – students will be randomly assigned to dens.
