Notice of Co-option of Councillors Following the uncontested elections, Little Pipping Parish Council is quorate and does have a sufficient number of councillors. However, the Council has up to three vacancies to fill. At the Annual Parish Council meeting on Monday 15th May 2017 the Council agreed to advertise to co-opt using the power of the Representation of the Peoples Act 1985, Section 21a). If you are interested in becoming a councillor applications are being invited until Monday 21st September 2017, with interviews and voting taking place at a Full Town Council meeting on Monday 4th October 2017. Great Pipping Vacancy on the Parish Council Great Pipping Parish Council has a vacancy for a parish councillor. Expressions of interest are welcomed from anyone who is over 18 years old. As a councillor representing your community you will help keep it a great place to live and work. You will be supported in your role and will be expected to undertake training . You should be comfortable working electronically . You should have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude and be willing to work as part of a team . The Parish Council currently meets in the evening on the fourth Wednesday of alternate months.
