Benefits To Your Community • With these monitors the Coachella Valley, your community, will have better information to guide actions to reduce air pollution and improve student and the surrounding community health. • In particular, vulnerable populations with respiratory problems such as asthma or other known diseases associated with air quality, the community and parents with asthmatic children will be able to make more informed asthma management decisions by having real-time data about air quality in their communities. • By hosting an air monitor, Your school districts will enable the collection of important data and contribute to efforts to improve public health throughout the county.
