The dairy sector is a top priority. • Business leaders in the dairy sector to initiate a focus on the dairy sector story. Traceability/transparency • Export NZ to draft a communications piece for exporters on the issues, risks and opportunities around transparency and traceability. • Export NZ to engage with MPI on developing Smart Mark to ensure that it’s commercially useful and useable for exporters and their consumers. This would take the form of providing key company connections, data and insights from exporters and specialist and market expertise. Business guide to stakeholder engagement beyond the RMA processes • NRS agencies to engage with the BusinessNZ Natural Resources Group of proposed changes to the Resource Management Act. • BusinessNZ to partner with NRS agencies on producing a stakeholder engagement guide for business.
