Skills Development Scotland My World of Work (MyWoW) MyWoW has been designed around four areas: Self – knowing who you are Strengths – knowing what you’re good at Horizons – knowing what’s out there for you Networks – knowing who can help you get there. Understanding what these are and why they are important will help you to strengthen and develop your career management skills whether by yourself or with some help.

Skills Development Scotland You are now at the page to register to create an account Input your personal details (make sure your password is chosen as described in system as it will not work otherwise). Once completed select the ‘Register’ button at the bottom left of the page.
Skills Development Scotland On this next screen select the ‘Services’ button from the menu bar, then select ‘My Toolkit’ - this will take you back to ‘Career Toolkit’ where you can explore the features available:
Skills Development Scotland My DNA This is a visual quiz to help you discover more about yourself. After you complete My DNA you will understand more about who you are, what makes you tick and this will help you think about your future.
Skills Development Scotland My Strengths Learn what you’re good at by completing My Strengths. You will discover what your strengths are and how to make the most of them. Knowing what your strengths are can help you explore your options when you’re making choices about your work, skills and learning.
Skills Development Scotland Careers A-Z All you need to know about hundreds of different jobs that are out there for you - you can search by job title or keyword to find out what these jobs involve, the average salaries and the skills, qualifications and experience needed to do them.
Skills Development Scotland Course Choices You can search 1000s of learning, training and volunteering places to find the right one to suit you from construction, to energy to web design and everything in between! Also, If you’re aged between 16 and 19 select the ‘16–19 Choices’ option to help find courses specifically for you to help you get where you want to be.
Skills Development Scotland Job Search Find the right job for you with new vacancies added every day. You can search for jobs throughout Scotland or narrow it down to ones in your local area.
Skills Development Scotland My CV If you’re starting from scratch or looking to update, with My CV you can build, edit and store up to five different CVs in a few simple steps. This means each one could suit the different job roles you want to apply for.
Skills Development Scotland My Interview This interactive interview video will help you prepare and understand what to expect when you go for an interview. They can be scary if you’ve not got much experience so My Interview goes through a number of video-based questions and you select the answers you think are the most impressive.
