Safety Management • Creating a safety culture with transient workforce, multiple contractors • Comprehensive health and safety plans – both LCP and contractors • Work closely with contractors to enable success – Approx. 25 H&S professionals on project team • Detailed reporting and auditing safety performance 5

Building a Safety Culture • Key initiatives: – Safety Net and the Use of Predictive Solutions – Safety Incentive (recognition) program – Established safety absolutes for all LCP worksites – Safety training at all site operations – Contractor safety forums – Collaborative working relationship with OHS and integrated OHS committee – Sharing of incident notifications, lessons learned and incident summary reporting 6

Managing Procurement • Many opportunities for businesses in NL, Canada and around the world • Approx. 200 contracts managed through LCP procurement team • 500+ direct and indirect contractors • To date approx. $800M invested in NL companies alone (over half to Innu-owned businesses/joint ventures) • Almost all contracts and PO’s issued for the project • Successful procurement/contract management to date 8

Logistics Management Around the World • Materials shipped to rural/remote locations from around the world • LCP oversees material receipt, storage and control • Established marshalling yards in Labrador and on the island to hold and control delivery of transmission materials • As of December 2014: – > 45,000 MT shipped – 1,134 containers and 2,070 trucks • Logistics for large materials (ex. generators and turbines) require road/bridge closures for transport 10

  11. Ensuring High Quality • Oversight, construction and manufacturing audits • Review of management plans and processes, readiness reviews • Factory inspections • Quality assurance at various factories, plants, and testing and manufacturing facilities in 20 countries worldwide 12

Technology & Working Remotely • Enable and enhance communication across remote locations • Actively used in the field (environment, lands, transmission clearing and construction crews) – LCP Powerline: GIS program is interactive, displays info specific to an inquiry, provides 62 map layers • Pronto Forms: allows field personnel to immediately submit reports via iPad app 15
