PROCESS • Call to Artists / Expression of Interest – July-September 2018 • Received 27 proposals from across Canada, U.S.A. and Europe • PAAC shortlisted to four artists who created maquettes of proposals • Review of maquettes and artist interviews by the PAAC to consensus to recommend Illarion Gallant submission APPROVAL OF PUBLIC ART AT MUNICIPAL HALL

RECOMMENDATION THAT • the submission from Rusnak Gallant Ltd. entitled “Succession” for a site -specific permanent public art installation at the west entrance to Municipal Hall at 17th Street be approved; and • $43,700 be transferred from the Public Art Reserve Fund to supplement previously approved funding to cover full costs related to the development, design, production and installation of this public art installation.
