5 Revised Teacher’s Guides (RTGs) • Compilation of lessons that teachers implement in class • Designed based on DepEd CGs and progression of skills across languages • Activities in the RTGs anchored to the Read Alouds (Grades 1-2), Listening Stories (Grade 3) and Leveled Readers (Grades 1-3) Basa Pilipinas

16 Sustainability: Supporting MTB-MLE and Literacy ✓ Basa Pilipinas has provided its partner schools with at least 1.4 million units of mother tongue leveled readers, read-aloud books, and Kindergarten Big Books. ✓ DepEd will print and distribute the Ilokano and Sinugbuanong Binisaya Kindergarten Learner’s Material to all schools using these languages in SY2018-19. ✓ Basa’s leveled readers have been adopted as official materials for all DepEd multigrade classes, and uploaded to the DepEd’s Learning Resource Portal to be accessed and used by teachers nationwide.
