Safety Elementary students at more remote bus stops would have HS students with them Older students home with younger siblings in the mornings and after school Last ES & HS students would be home before 4:00 pm HS and ES students on much more similar schedule during delays, older siblings available to watch younger siblings Delay notification time moves from 5:30 am to 6:10 am Several Local Districts have ES and HS students traveling together and have had positive experiences Bald Eagle Tyrone Harmony Student Drivers traveling in daylight year round

Other Factors Staff can be shared between buildings – could be a significant cost savings to the District and benefit students by providing the most qualified staff to students Common Professional Development Time Student Enrollment fallen by 153 students in 11 years 1001 in 2008 922 in 2012 847 in 2019 Trend is financially concerning since 71% of District income is driven by state money and determined by enrollment
