Morning Presentation: Ice cream & Personalities F.3B Ivan Lam F.3B Anna Tsui
A: Good morning, everyone. We are from 3B. I am Anna. I: I am Ivan. A: Anna, do you like eating ice cream? I: Sure. Ice cream tastes really good. Why are you asking me about ice cream? Do you have some for me?
A: Not really… Recently, I have found a research showing that your taste in ice cream reveals a lot about your personality .
The Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in the U.S.A. have done a research for an ice cream company to find out what people’s choice of ice cream tells you about their personality.
I: That’s interesting! I love vanilla ice cream. Did the research tell us something about vanilla fans? A: Yes. They found that vanilla fans like to take risks and have high expectations on themselves.
I: It’s amazing ! That actually sounds like me. I love setting high goals . I would like to take challenges . Also, I think I am kind of impulsive as I do things without thinking carefully.
A: Wow! That really matches with the result from the research. Actually, I love chocolate ice cream a lot. I: Let me take a look of the research! They found that chocolate lovers are outgoing and love to be the centre of attention .
They like changes and excitements , and become bored with the usual routine . What kind of chocolate ice cream you choose can mean different things. Those who prefer Double Chocolate Chunk, for example, tend to be lively , creative and charming .
A: That’s right. They may be good at music or art, are fun to talk to and are at the centre of any social events . However, I prefer Chocolate Chip instead.
According to the study, Chocolate Chip lovers tend to be generous and knowledgeable . They do things pretty well.
I: I know why it’s your favourite flavour now. Hey, I’ve got a question. How to analyse the character of people who change flavours every week?
You know, my friend liked Mint Chocolate last month, but her favourite is Strawberry and Cream flavour now.
A: That’s a good one. The researchers provided no information about it. Further research is needed. I hope you guys enjoy our presentation. Thank you for your time!
