  1. Merseyside County Schools FA Joe Ryan - Administrator

  2. Me!  Based in Liverpool since 2012 for University.  Started at the Liverpool County FA in October 2016 in the Administrator position.  FA Coach Mentor.  Coach @ Marshalls FC U11s & Reserves  Liverpool Futsal Club – 1 st Team Head Coach & Club Development Officer

  3. The Role  To see Schools Football in Merseyside differently than previously!  Discovering a fractured landscape – with so many delivery arms, lack of cohesion/communication between the MCSFA and districts especially!  Lucky to be allowed to take the role in a direction of my choosing!  Initially supporting with general administration duties from Ken but building a picture of areas I could develop!

  4. Development of the role  2017/18 season: U19 League secretary & Everton Senior Shield Coordinator – 4 divisions (37 teams & further 8 6 th Forms/Colleges joining the Senior Shield).  Evolving the Years 7-11 Competition entry format – introducing invoices to manage payments.  Moving other Schools based competitions on to full Time – U11 District League & U11 Girls Borough League.  Working with the FA’s Regional PE Coordinator about supporting delivery of PE and Football.  Developed an Equipment Pack to improve the quality of Football/PE delivery.

  5. Futsal  Supported 3 Schools with their Football Foundation Funding.  Delivering Futsal at 5 Primary Schools through Liverpool Futsal Club.  Delivering Futsal at the Schools Games as a Level 3 Development Game.  Looking to expand the game in tandem with Liverpool Futsal Club’s Development!

  6. Transition & evolution  End of 2017/18 – Ken & Bob stepping down from Secretary & Chairman roles respectively!  Development of a Transition document – Who, what and where of the MCSFA.  Developing a golden thread/DNA/Identity to the MCSFA which guides our organisation & the delivery of Representative football!  Modernising the structure – utilising Google Forms to support with competition entries.

  7. A fun journey ahead!
