BI.DIS10 Generator prototype, Jura 6 Status of technical progress • Prototype BI.DIS10 controls completed with TECHNIX 10kV-1A power supply integration • Improved IGBT protection and triggering • Pulsed power system near completion (PFN & Magnet)....but issues with inductors... • Thermal studies & reliability runs have started (April 2016) up to 8kV...to go further...worst case not studied yet • Fast interlock system (early tests planned for April 2016)...? • Review of logical connection to BIS ongoing (1 channel Vs. 4 channels) …still to be discussed by MPE group. • Looking at current technology issues concerning PFN signal conditioning, to be determined trough tests !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2
