Organisation of the detention center • Two blocks for men, one for both defendants and convicts Another one only for convicts, 265 defendants 320 convicts • A block for women, 21 defendants 15 convicts • A block for juvenile offenders(under 18) 11 defendants 1 convicts • A block for semi-released prisoners 58 convicts

  3. Organisation Teaching Unit ● 7 full time teachers ● 1 half-time English teacher ● 1 Spanish teacher( 4 hour/week) ● 1 Philosophy teacher(3 hour/week) ● 1 managment assistant ● The unit is open from Monday to friday ● 36 weeks a year, 39 for juvenile

Block A ● Women’s block ➢ 11 hours of refresher course and FLE( french as a foreign langage) ➢ 3 hours of english ➢ Computing initiation with « CLIP » ➢ An average of of 4 hours and ½ per week, per person ● Men’s block ➢ 42 hours of refresher course, literacy, training to exam, computing ➢ 3 hours of english and philosophy ➢ An average of 6 hours and ½ per week per person

  5. Block B ● Adults ➢ 23 hours for literacy, FLE, refresher course and Highway Code ➢ An average of 5 hours and ½ per week per person. ● Juveniles ➢ 30 hours for all levels ➢ Cyber base ➢ Attending lessons with adults is possible ➢ An average of 8 hours and ½ per week, per person
