TA42 Overview • Library and Heritage Plan 2013-2017 in final stages. • An interim plan will be developed whilst in transition to the new library and museum in the new Community Centre. • Will be reviewed annually until a move in date has been set for the new building. • Transition to a new plan will link with the opening of the CITY OF BELMONT new building. Achievement Highlights TA45 Library and Heritage Plan 2013-2017 • New Publications o The Adventures of the Belmonsters o City of Belmont Heritage Series (8 books) o A History Of Suburbs Series (6 booklets) o Heritage and Suburbs Series are available in electronic format including the Heritage Series in audio book format • Programs and Services o Increase in loan limits o Introduction of an annual Library and Heritage Survey o Local History Photographic Competition o Rollout and expansion of the Oral History Program o Introduction of Eventbrite booking system
