• Appreciating the music of English by listening and practicing the rhythm of poems. • Understanding how English sounds are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d and shortened to fit into the rhythm (English as a stress timed language). • What is the perfect English accent? This week UTS:HELPS 4

Identify which words are stressed to make the rhythm and practice these lines in pairs first, then around the table, getting feedback on the rhythm with which you speak.
