  3. INTERNET SAFETY AT SCHOOL • In compliance with E-rate requirements the district provides an internet safety course titled iSafe. The iSafe curriculum is interspersed throughout the year to all of the grade levels K-8. The iSafe curriculum covers a variety of topics ranging from digital citizenship, online identity safety, and cyber bullying. • Student web-filtering policy • Internet traffic monitoring

  4. INTERNET SAFETY AT HOME The school is not responsible for monitoring the use of the device once • it leaves the building. The responsibly shifts to the parents/guardians of the student. DEVICE RESPONSIBILITY � • Parent(s)/guardian(s) are responsible for their child’s use of the device, including any damage to or loss of the device. • In the event that a student’s device is lost or damaged, the District may assess the parent(s)/guardian(s) a charge to cover the replacement or repair. • The decision to assess a charge, as well as the amount of any charge, is at the sole discretion of the District, but will not be greater than the full replacement value of the device. • The devices are covered by the District’s insurance policy. There is no need to purchase an individual insurance policy. • Your student may not bring their own device in replacement of the district provided device. • Unless otherwise instructed, the device is intended for use at school every day. If students are permitted to use the device at home, they are responsible for bringing it to school every day, fully charged.

  7. DEVICE CHECKOUT • Students will not be allowed to take the device home without the Student Use Agreement form being e- signed by a parent or guardian. • Those students who do not have the the form signed will have to check their device out in the morning and in before they leave school.
