Status Update - Lake to Lake in Markham • York Region has started detailed design • Kick-off meeting held Feb 3, 2016 with Stantec Consulting • Current at 30% design, completion anticipated in early 2017 • Construction start anticipated in Spring 2017 (subject to availability of funds) • York Region was successful in its application to MTO for the Ontario Municipal Cycling Infrastructure Fund • $325,000 Provincial commitment • Construction must be completed by March 2018 • Need partnership with Markham 8
