  3. Scope • 1. Townsville Innovation Complex ( TIC ) – funded via a NAIF concessional loan – $90.2m (+ cap interest) – to be completed by end 2021 • 2. Townsville Campus Renewal ( TCR ) – $73m to be funded from Capital & Infrastructure Plan 2017-2025 – Still some capacity for other capital during the life of this project • 3. Townsville Central Plaza ( TCP ) – $5m State Govt Catalytic Infrastructure Funding – design well advanced, to be completed by end 2018 Total Enterprise Bundle $168m (inc cap interest $174m)

Technology Innovation Complex (TIC) • Centerpiece of an innovation hub in which undergraduate engineering students, industry partners, post-graduate researchers and start-up businesses will converge and collaborate • Project budget: $90M (construction circa $65M) • Benefit Cost Ratio for the bundle: 4.5 • Job Creation: 270 construction and other jobs • Australian Industry Participation Plan Commitment: Minimum 80% of budget spent in Australia (Industry Capability Network) • JCU Target: Minimum 80% of the budget spent through local business • Sustainability: Targeting LEED Gold
