BIHS – Irish Network Aims & Objectives • Closer links between the BIHS, the Irish Heart Foundation and its Council for High Blood Pressure, and other related groups • To improve the diagnosis and management of high blood pressure in Ireland • To lobby policy makers to raise awareness and request funding for BP screening • To establish hypertension training programmes for healthcare professionals in Ireland
