AD EN/EL : cabling AD-target : • pulling completed and connections in progress. Some tests remains – TE/VSC : • Cryo pumps and sensors are now installed on UHM3107 and UVM3207 – tanks. Some tests still to be realized. Ion pump change is almost finished in sector 2. Some delay on other – places as extremely delicate manipulations. Gauges upgrade progresses well. – BE/BI + TE/VSC : • Ion pump installation none of the MTV screen was replaced, as degasing test slows down the – planning (and there are some problems with the test bench). But not critical for the moment. BHN06: new CERN visit to manufacturer for first coil test. Decision • will be taken by end next week. A plan-B is going to be considered as well in case of further delay. TE/ABT : 1 month additional delay announced for the 2 KFI tanks • (installation postponed at the end of October). LEIR EN/EL : • cabling FO (fibres optiques) for PSS project is completed and – tested. Other cables (BIW + stopper) are installed. To be tested. – TE/MSC + TE/VSC : • removal of DHV12 on 1/8 was successful. Excellent support – from EN/HE as well. (see picture) BE/BI : • MTV screens are ready, then degasing tests. – Should all be fine for the installation scheduled early October. Removal DHV12 PSS : New access point waiting to be put in service • BE/BI : • last-minutes request to intervene on the 2 BIPM (Beam – Ionisation Profile Monitor) on vacuum sector 5. SPS EL cabling works in progress • All transformers are replaced • between BA3 and CCC. MKP disconnected and pumped out, All new transformers in place to prepare the irradiated cable campaign All other works progressing on • schedule. TT10 Civil Engineering Works Beamline and general services cleared where • necessary and tunnel ready for consolidation works to begin.
