Standard Assessment Procedures  Leave all electronics at home — no electronic devices may enter the testing center  Arrive early — testing begins promptly at a given start time (late entry is not permitted)  Rest and a healthy breakfast is highly encouraged  Closed campus on assessment days — students may not leave in the middle of an assessment, and visitors are not permitted on campus during assessments

College Readiness Exams The Postsecondary Educational Readiness Test (PERT):  Measures college readiness scores in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics  Computer-based, criterion referenced assessments  Results suggest placement in specific high school and post-secondary courses

College Readiness Exams Who Takes the PERT?  Students desiring to participate in dual enrollment — must earn specific scores for entry into particular courses  All juniors in the State of Florida that have not previously taken the PERT while in high school (usually in the Spring)
