Standard Assessment Procedures Leave all electronics at home — no electronic devices may enter the testing center Arrive early — testing begins promptly at a given start time (late entry is not permitted) Rest and a healthy breakfast is highly encouraged Closed campus on assessment days — students may not leave in the middle of an assessment, and visitors are not permitted on campus during assessments

College Readiness Exams The Postsecondary Educational Readiness Test (PERT): Measures college readiness scores in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics Computer-based, criterion referenced assessments Results suggest placement in specific high school and post-secondary courses
College Readiness Exams Who Takes the PERT? Students desiring to participate in dual enrollment — must earn specific scores for entry into particular courses All juniors in the State of Florida that have not previously taken the PERT while in high school (usually in the Spring)
