2 WHAT YOU’LL NEED ⊗ Course Selection Sheet (CSS) ⊗ Academic History ⊚ Available on SIS Gateway ⊗ Curriculum Guide ⊚ Check school website!
3 Failure to return a signed course selection sheet by the deadline will result in courses being selected for you! Course selection is for the entire school year.
4 ACADEMIC CORE COURSES ⊗ Include: English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science ⊗ Current teachers will select courses for next year ⊗ Place an “X” next to the course selected.
5 Elective Courses ⊗ Select 5 total! Number from 1-5 in preference. ⊚ 1 being the one you want the most! ⊗ If there is a line after the course name, a teacher signature is required . ⊚ Some elective courses require a teacher signature- see the list on the bottom left corner of your course selection sheet. *If 5 electives are not chosen, they will be selected for you!
6 SENIORS - CLASS OF 2021! Recommended classes: ⊗ English 4 ⊚ ½ Economics, ½ American Government ⊚ 1 Math ⊚ 4 or 5 Elective Credits ⊚ Senior Privilege, Part-Time FLVS: check requirements on form ⊗ located in School Counseling office: MUST be attached & signed. Student Aides must obtain signature of their School Counselor ⊗ Due Dates: Friday, March 13th - Thursday March 20th You will meet individually with your School Counselor
7 JUNIORS - CLASS OF 2022! Recommended classes: ⊗ 1 English 3 ⊚ 1 Math ⊚ 1 Science Elective ⊚ 1 US History ⊚ 3 Elective Credits ⊚ Junior Privilege, Part-Time FLVS: check requirements on form located ⊗ in School Counseling office: MUST be attached & signed. Due Dates: Wednesday, February 19th & Thursday February 20th School Counselors will visit English classrooms to collect sheets.
8 SOPHOMORES - CLASS OF 2023! Recommended classes: ⊗ English 2 ⊚ 1 Math ⊚ Biology ⊚ World History ⊚ Critical Thinking (online) / elective* ⊚ 2 Elective Credits ⊚ * Online courses fulfill virtual credit graduation requirement Due Dates: Monday February 17th & Tuesday February 18th School Counselors will visit English classrooms to collect sheets.
