Period Allocation for Higher and Nationals • Teaching week: 32 periods. • Higher level subjects: 6 periods per week. • National level subjects: 5 periods per week (excluding Maths & English which will have 4) • Remaining time in ‘Core’ : Physical Education (PE), Religious and Moral Education (RME) and Personal and Social Development (PSE)
S4 Choices • All S4 students will be asked to choose a maximum of 6 National level subjects (inc Maths & English).
