2013-2014 Accomplishments • Completed the Measure “W” Bond Projects-Allied Health Building, Road, Parking Lot • Attained HSI designation-Applied for a Title V Grant • Secured Federal HEP Grant - $399,547 year 1 • Secured Federal CAMP Grant - $376,422 year 1 • AB86 – 200,000 – one year planning grant • SB70 Grant– 400,000 - over three years • Initiated educational services to the coast region • Hosted a very successful CTE regional meeting • Hosted local high school Math competition for students in Lake and Mendocino County • SLO Team – 93% of instructional programs assessed
2013-2014 Accomplishments • Held another successful Teachers on Teaching Conference • Hosted the Latino Student Retreat for students in Lake and Mendocino County • Hosted Ukiah High School graduation • Hosted the Celebration of Commerce event in partnership with the Ukiah Chamber of Commerce • Hosted Mendocino Office of Education Science Fair • Hosted track meets for middle schools in the area • Completed our ADTs • Added new academic programs and athletic teams • Hosted Mobile Mexican Consulate in Lakeport • Classified Staff held another successful FUNdraiser

Board Priorities 2014-15 • Support the Superintendent-President and College to address all recommendations from the ACCJC and to maintain a positive Accreditation status. • Sustain the cycle of planning and assessment using shared governance and maintain our continuous improvement process. • Strengthen our inclusive, equitable, and ethnically diverse college culture that is welcoming to all students and is supportive of underrepresented students. • Explore student needs and education trends to enhance student access, teaching and learning outcomes, and promote improved completion rates for our students. • Consistently consider the best approaches to meeting the economic and workforce needs of the students and the communities we serve. • Uphold the integrity of the College by continued adherence to all policies, including ethical and legal requirements .
