Summer School We will likely be offering summer school at Houston High School this year! ● Incoming freshmen can take Health to get that course finished before the school year starts. ● Current high school students can take any course in which they need to recover credit. ● Current high school students can take any course in order to accelerate their learning or free a slot in their schedule. ● Please mark your scheduling form to indicate if you might be interested in taking summer school with us.
Alaska Performance Scholarship ● The APS is a scholarship based on courses taken in high school, GPA, and SAT, ACT, or WorkKeys test scores. ● The money from this scholarship can be used at Alaska colleges and trade schools. ● Please pay attention to the criteria for this scholarship so that you will be eligible when you graduate.

Select the form for the grade you will be NEXT year. ● Rank your elective choices CAREFULLY. We will try to give you your first choice if at all possible. ● Let us know if you might be interested in summer school. ● Let us know if you would like to take an Apex course and type the name of the Apex course in the COMMENTS section. ● If you need to make-up a course, please indicate that on the form. ● Seniors, if you want to be off campus, let us know what periods you would prefer to be off campus. ● Use the COMMENTS section ● to ask questions, write us a note, or clarify your elective choices.
